The Identification Survey & Report is one of the most common surveys undertaken by Craig & Rhodes.
These surveys are typically instructed at the time a property is either purchased or sold and are used by a lending authority to determine the site of the survey is consistent with the Certificate of Title, the extent and location of improvements on or adjacent to the land, location of any easements or restriction and compliance with Council building setbacks. |

The topographic or detail survey depicts the position and level of improvements and natural features on a site.
|
Typically, the survey determines the:
- position of existing buildings,
- contours of a site,
- position of trees,
- location of existing services and
- any other feature of a site that may impact upon development potential
|
A topographic survey is a vital component of a successful development application for any development of your land.
We can undertake topographic surveys using a range of technologies.

Remote access reflectorless Total Stations can be used on urban & city surveys where access is restricted.
GPS technology can be used on large scale topographic surveys where rapid data collection allows a 3D model of a site to be established.

Craig & Rhodes has staff experienced in the use of GPS equipment to allow large scale mapping and control surveys to be undertaken.
We have recently updated our GPS equipment to the Trimble R8 system that now allows both US & Russian satellites to be tracked.
This allows a large array of satellites to be continually monitored by the GPS system to provide improved survey accuracy and significant reduction in loss of reception in difficult terrain.
